Bader & Sons Co. once again achieves Gold Star certification in Portland, Grand Ledge, St Louis, Linwood, Rosebush and Tecumseh on November 8, 2010. For the fifth year, since 2006 Bader & Sons Co. attained Gold Star certification from John Deere by successfully completing the company’s Gold Star Performance Standards Program. The Gold Star Program honors dealers for their unwavering commitment to excellent customer service, outstanding facilities, continuing education, and innovative solutions. Dealers are evaluated every year against more than 40 measurements and check points. Bader & Sons Co. was evaluated and surpassed John Deere standards in the five Gold Star categories: Sales/Marketing, Customer Support, Operational Management, Retail Environment and Employee Development.

Customers in a Gold Star dealership should expect to find innovative new product packages, a well organized showroom with a knowledgeable sales staff, highly trained expert service technicians, and shelves stocked with the necessary parts and equipment. In addition, Gold Star dealers offer Ready To Mow, a mobile service operation that takes care of maintenance needs at home or business locations, or collects equipment for delivery to the dealership.

Over the years of being in business since first opening in St Louis, Bader & Sons Co. has gained a lot of wonderful loyal John Deere customers throughout Isabella County and surrounding area. Seeing the need for a better lawn and garden presence we took the opportunity which presented itself in Mt. Pleasant, opening a store on E Pickard St in April of 2005. Having been received warmly by the community there, we were able to expand our product offerings with Boss snow plows, Stihl hand held equipment, and of course continued with a full line of John Deere Commercial & Consumer use products.

Then, March 29, 2009 tragedy struck. We were completely wiped out by a fire destroying the entire store and most of our inventory. Sent reeling with the unexpected loss we were able to scramble and piece together, with a lot of help from the City and surrounding customer base, to a temporary location behind The Home Depot by July of 2009. Although this got us up and going, deciding where to rebuild was the next big decision.

Now after 5 successful years in the Mt Pleasant community, we’ve decided to better serve our large and small property owners by moving to Rosebush. We are now open in Rosebush! We are located just off of Highway 127 at the Rosebush exit. We will be better able to serve not only the needs of the property owners but those of the area farmers as well. With a resolve to be “Outstanding in Our Field” we feel very fortunate and privileged to continue serving the needs of our customers in this region.

Along with our new location we have also teamed up with Rich & Joni Hendren of Hendrensfarmtoys.com to provide you a better John Deere merchandise shopping experience. As of February 1st 2010, we are working together to provide an immense inventory of John Deere merchandise that will be unparallel to any other John Deere online store on the web!
